With decks surrounded by huge trees and the peaceful sounds of the water, wind chimes and bird songs you will be immersed in the most relaxing atmosphere we could imagine. Kayaking, swimming fishing, birdwatching and hiking are all popular here. Bastrop is known as a foodies paradise with a great night life with several venues featuring live music. Our downtown area is lined with historical architecture housing many artisans and purveyors of food and drink.

Our Meditation Dome is awesome!
My version of a tropical rain forest in a 10,000 cubic foot geodesic dome! Over 300 plants and flowers as well as an indoor koi pond will melt the stress off in no time. Many of our guest say this is a favorite breakfast spot as they begin their day.

Wether you choose to fish, swim, hike, tube, kayak or just sit and watch the water flow by we have no doubt you'll find what you desire here in this mesmerizing setting.
Just two miles from historical downtown Bastrop where you will find local merchants with an array of incredible finds. We are also fortunate to have two State Parks with over 40 miles of hiking trails as well. There are also two LCRA parks offering scenic trails as well as fishing on lake Bastrop.
If Golfing is your thing there are three Golf courses within a short drive as well.
We are centrally located, 45 minutes from Austin, about 1.5 hours from SanAntonio, about 2 hours from Houston and about 3 hours from Dallas.
And of course, The River! In my mind we live on one of the most beautiful stretches of this long river. Kayaking as well as tubing are both popular here. Bring your own or we also provide rentals and guided excursions as well.
Our 4 legged friends love us as well! We are pet friendly here on the river and love watching our well behaved four legged friends enjoy the property as well!
